Where is the Xuanwu Gate in the Tang Dynasty?
Xuanwu Gate of Taiji Palace in Tang Dynasty is located in the west of the north of Taiji Palace, and the Sui Dynasty is the main north gate of Daxing Palace. On June 4th, Tang Gaozu Wude and Li Shimin, king of Qin, staged a coup in Xuanwumen.

When Xuanwu Gate was in Tang Xizong, the Huang Chao Rebellion broke out and Chang 'an was seriously damaged. In the first year of God bless (904), Zhu Quanzhong kidnapped Tang Zhaozong, moved the capital to Luoyang, and demolished the palace.
Since then, Han Jian, ambassador of Youguo Army in Chang 'an, has rebuilt and reduced Chang 'an City. Han Jian gave up the vast Miyagi outside the city of Guo and only kept the imperial city. The rebuilt Chang 'an is called the new city. At this point, the Xuanwu Gate of Taiji Palace no longer exists.
