Does the court work on weekends?

According to the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Law of the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Court is the highest judicial organ in People's Republic of China (PRC), which is responsible for hearing all kinds of cases, formulating judicial interpretations, supervising the trial work of local people's courts at all levels and special people's courts, and managing the judicial administration of courts throughout the country according to the scope of duties determined by law.

Article 7 of the Regulations on Working Hours of Employees in the State Council stipulates that state organs and institutions shall implement unified working hours, with Saturday and Sunday as weekly rest days. Enterprises and institutions that cannot implement the unified working hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph may flexibly arrange weekly rest days according to actual conditions.

The State Council's regulations on working hours of employees: Article 3 Employees shall work 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

So the court will not open on Saturday and Sunday.

If you can't go to the court to handle related affairs in person because you usually go to work on weekdays, on the one hand, you can entrust others to handle it, on the other hand, you can communicate with court staff by telephone, online handling and email. In practice, due to the large number of cases, time constraints and other objective reasons, the court will go to the court to work overtime on weekends. However, during this overtime, I will not receive the masses alone, but only handle internal work affairs in the court, which does not belong to normal working hours or work outside the window.
