In which city is Dajiangjia Village located?
During Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (about 1465), natural disasters were serious, with low productivity, government exploitation and frequent natural disasters. People live in extreme hardship and struggle in hot water every day. In desperation, one of them, surnamed Jiang, decided to move eastward. Under the leadership of the patriarch, they took their children, starved, fled for food, left their homes and traveled long distances to find the ideal "Xanadu", a place with mountains and water, fertile land and beautiful scenery, to survive. After several exhibitions and a long journey, I finally came to Jiangjiadian in the original Huangxian County in the year of the Apocalypse and settled down reluctantly. Later, because it was located in the mountainous area, the land was barren, the wind was not adjusted and the rain was not smooth, so the food produced could not meet the needs of life and the basic life could not be guaranteed. His four brothers (Jiangyin, Jiang Yi, Jiang Xue, Jiang Chun) discussed and said, "If a tree moves, it will die, but if a person moves, it will live. We can't just hang ourselves on a tree." So I decided to continue to move eastward. This time, their family moved to the eastern end of Zhuyouguan North Village and settled down temporarily. After two good years, life gradually improved. The Chiang brothers also built a temple in the east of the village, hoping that the gods would bless the good weather, live and work in peace and contentment, and have a good harvest. This temple is commonly known as Jiangjia Temple. However, in feudal society, due to the influence of feudal patriarchal concept, struggles between clans often occurred. The Chiang brothers live here, and their lives are relatively rich, but they are squeezed out and bullied by the foreign names in the west of the village, and there are often fights. A few years later, after discussion, everyone found it difficult to live here for a long time, so they began to move north again.
When I arrived in the Bohai Sea, I laid down my baggage and started a nest shop to farm and fish for a living. In a blink of an eye, several years have passed. When we go fishing, we often stay on an island called Salmon Island in the sea. The land here is vast and sparsely populated, far away from the world and from Haizheng. It was a place to settle down, so the Chiang brothers moved to salmon island and lived a free fishing and hunting life on the island. One year, the government sent some prisoners to Salmon Island, mainly to prevent prisoners from escaping and strengthen the management of criminals. The Chiang brothers were forced to leave the island, landed in Penglai Port and headed west along the coast. When we arrived at Beigou Nangang, we looked up and saw Ma Pingchuan, a wasteland with flat terrain, lush vegetation, lush foliage and fertile land, which is very suitable for land reclamation and home construction. We built a simple shack together and lived a quiet life. Make it at sunrise and rest at sunset. First, more than ten acres of land were opened behind the shack, which was named "After the shack". Intensive cultivation, hard work and improved life. Then a few acres of land were opened in the west of "behind the shack" and named as "the first row of land" Subsequently, farming, ditch land, trail land, large land and strip land were reclaimed one after another, and another land named "Xia Geng" was opened to the south of Dalang, and these place names have been used to this day.
After a period of time, people found that the wind was strong in winter, and the hut had poor ability to resist wind and cold. Moreover, there is a gentle slope in the south of Da Lang, and there is a wide valley under the slope. At the bottom of the valley, a big river, Weiyang River, flows through it, and a lot of land can be cultivated on both sides of the river. This place is close to the water, with the leeward facing the sun, which is a treasure trove of geomantic omen, so the Chiang brothers moved their home to the place where the village is now. For the convenience of farming, Laosi later moved to Weiyang River and named it "Xiaojiangjia". The place where the eldest, the third and the fourth live is naturally called "Dajiang Home".
After the Chiang brothers settled down, they flourished, increasing in number and scale. Later, more people discovered this good place on both sides of the Weiyang River, and eight villages were located on both sides of the Weiyang River. Dajiang village is right in the center of these eight villages, just like the stars holding the moon. According to Jiang's genealogy, during the Ming Chenghua period, Jiang's ancestors immigrated to Zhuyouguan and Huangjiadian in Huangxian County. The four brothers moved from Huangjiadian to Changshan Island, and then moved to Penglai to settle down. Brother Jiang's three brothers live in Bei 'an village, called Jiang's family. Old four lived alone in the southwest and settled down, known as Xiao Jiang's family. It lasted for more than 20 generations and more than 500 years.
According to the introduction of the old Jiang family, everyone in the Jiang family made a living from this in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Most of them earn some hard-earned money to support their families, and a few of them have a chance to meet each other. It is said that people who have been to Guangdong are divided into three grades: first-class shopkeepers; Second-rate learning skills; Third-rate runners make great efforts. Reflected the life and society at that time. Jiang people are smart and many people get along well. As soon as they have savings, they will go back to their hometown to build houses and farm land. Up to now, there are more than a dozen old houses in the late Qing dynasty in the village, which stand firmly at the entrance of the village and show people that special historical style.
There was a Guandi Temple in the village in the middle ages, and now only a few scattered ancient cornerstones are left, with broken bricks and tiles. Guan Jun is a brave man worshipped by people. It used to be a mourning hall for villagers to worship, burn incense and sacrifice for generations and seek happiness and security.
In the process of land consolidation and soil improvement in the 1960s, more than ten "oil basket graves" were found around the village. Most of them are made of large bricks with diamond patterns. There are no traces of coffins in the tombs, only lying bones and piles of bones sitting occasionally. Some tombs unearthed some gold and silver jewelry, copper coins and the like, but most of them were just pottery pots and bowls and the like. For this kind of tomb, folk stories often call it "Qiu Zi's Tomb" in Song Dynasty. It shows that human beings have lived here for a long time, and for some reason, they left here.
In the "War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea", more than ten people from Dajiang family joined the army. At that time, they took a sampan from Luanjiakou and risked their lives to cross the sea to Zhuanghe. Later, they crossed the river in the north and got a regimental headquarters. One of them died on the battlefield.
The Chiang family are hardworking and simple. In this beautiful and excellent land, they won the fruits of victory with hard work, and the villagers lived happily. Dajiangjia Village used to be a poor villa. After the reform and opening up, the Dajiang family, under the leadership of village cadres, bravely stood at the forefront, dared to be the first, vigorously developed the planting industry and planted new varieties of grapes, gained higher income, got rid of poverty and became rich earlier, and lived a well-off life. Looking forward to tomorrow, Dajiangjia Village will be more splendid and embroidered, and people's lives will be better.

Attachment 2: Typesetting in Jiang Dynasty
The typesetting of Jiang's generation is "English, thinking, Europe, heaven, luck, literature, literature, prosperity, industry, honor, world, generation, honor, elegance, virtue, jade, music, success, dragon" and so on. The ancestors of previous generations, perhaps because of illiteracy, did not leave a generation of words.
Note: Jiang Shitan and others recall the genealogy of Jiang family.
