What computer is often needed for weather forecast?

Weather forecasting often requires the use of large computers. Weather forecast uses large computers to analyze and process meteorological data. Using computer and some methods of computational mathematics, the mathematical equation is transformed into four operation schemes of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, translated into machine language (i.e. calculation command), and input into the computer together with the observation data (a large amount of data) of meteorological elements in various places, so that the computer can quickly and reliably complete the huge and complicated tasks such as weather forecast and air quality index calculation.
