Lysimachia is everywhere in rural areas. Is it really a rare medicinal plant?

Four kinds of common foreground grasses, namely, LYSIMACHIA japonica, dwarf pearl, and mini dwarf pearl, have similar habits, but many people can't distinguish them. Let's briefly introduce them as LYSIMACHIA japonica, which grows rapidly under strong light and sufficient co2. Its leaves are three to four, narrow and long in shape, with sharp heads, and usually grow upright. It is a kind of water grass that can grow to a high height, and it grows faster, and it will branch out many side buds and form grass. After pruning, it can be planted into pearl balls.

The dwarf pearl is a dicotyledonous plant, which is a kind of foreground aquatic plants with strong decoration. Once planted successfully, it can climb into a green grassland. The cultivation of dwarf pearl needs strong light and CO2. Under the condition of sufficient CO2 and illumination, it will crawl on the bottom bed instead of growing upright, and cover it neatly at the planting place, forming a large green area. The dwarf pearl underwater grass is opposite to the leaves, and the leaves are oval or spoon-shaped. In weak light, it will grow vertically upward, and only when the luminosity is sufficient, carbon dioxide is not lacking, and fertilizer is applied properly can it grow and multiply rapidly.

Mini-dwarf pearl is the most common foreground grass. Under suitable conditions, mini-dwarf pearl will crawl on the ground and grow instead of in the direction of light. Therefore, in some landscaping that need green land, mini dwarf pearls are often the first choice for foreground aquatic plants. The mini-dwarf pearl has round opposite leaves, which are green in color, and can crawl on the wetland, with a slow growth rate. Because the mini-dwarf pearl is too small, not only will it encounter some difficulties when it is first planted, but even after it is planted, it will easily be free from the bottom bed due to buoyancy or other factors (such as fish disturbance), so it will not be fixed and grow smoothly until it is rooted. Because of the shallow roots, it is not easy to directly absorb the nutrients of root fertilizer, and it is not easy to see the effect of burying root fertilizer, so it is only necessary to apply liquid fertilizer. It has strong adaptability to the intensity of luminosity and the change of water quality, and it is generally not difficult to cultivate under the condition of sufficient co2.

The ground dwarf pearl is also one of our most common foreground grasses. It has similar habits to the mini dwarf pearl, and also has round opposite leaves. The leaves are bigger than the mini dwarf, and they crawl on the bottom bed to grow, which has strong adaptability to the intensity of luminosity and the change of water quality, and can reproduce and grow without co2. The root system of the ground-climbing dwarf pearl is very developed. When it is in good condition, its root system will spread and take root like the outside, crawl and grow into a lawn.
