Kuifu Ancient Temple has a long history. It is said that there was a monk in Luofu Mountain who traveled from Long Mai in northern Guangdong to Xingcha Fuan in Jun 'an in search of the famous Longdong. Before the discovery, there was Fuhai, surrounded by peaks such as Guishan and Sheshan, and it was confirmed as "Longdong". So Kuifu Ancient Temple was built with local funds. In front of Kuifu Ancient Temple, it faces Xijiang Waterway. At that time, the river was vast, rough and white sails rippled. At dawn and dusk, the fog filled the river and the scenery was spectacular. In the Qing Dynasty, there was a "Smoke Pavilion" next to Kuifu Temple, named "Fuhai Smoke", which belongs to one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Jun 'an.
