China Naming Network - Eight-character Q&A - Principle of floor heating water separator

Principle of floor heating water separator

The working principle of the floor heating water separator is to introduce circulating hot water into the heating pipeline loop under the paved floor or directly lay floor tiles or heating cables to heat the floor, and the heat is transferred through the ground in a large area. It mainly radiates to the space above the floor in the form of radiation, which makes the human body feel the double thermal effects of thermal radiation and air temperature.

Use skills of floor heating water separator;

1. The water separator can control the water supply flow of each room or area in different ways. For example, if any rotary core valve on the water separator is closed by half, the temperature of this waterway heating chamber will be reduced.

2. When the manual exhaust valve on the water separator encounters poor heating and gas blockage during heating in winter, users can manually exhaust the gas in the floor heating pipeline by using the exhaust device to ensure the normal circulation of hot water.

There is a filter at the front end of the oil-water separator. During the annual heating period, users will remove the filter screen at the lower end of the filter regularly or irregularly, and then install it after cleaning to ensure the cleanliness of the water pipe. Rinse the pipe network with clean water after heating. Fourth: If you are away from home for a long time, you can use the main valve of the water separator to reduce the circulating water, and you must not turn it off completely. If there is no indoor heating all winter, the water in the pipeline will be blown out.

Installation steps of floor heating water separator:

1. Installation of floor heating water separator: the water inlet and water outlet of each loop heating pipe connecting the water inlet and the water outlet are respectively connected with the water separator and the water collector. The inner diameter of the water separator and water collector should not be less than that of the main supply return pipe, and the maximum cross-sectional velocity of the water separator and water collector should not be greater than 0.8m/s.

Each branch circuit of water separator and water collector should not exceed 8. Too many loops will lead to too dense pipelines in the distribution manifold, which is not conducive to installation. Return pipe of each branch circuit shall be provided with copper ball valves and other stop valves.

2. Installation of floor heating water separator: install valves on the water supply connecting pipeline in front of the water separator, and install valves, filters and drainage pipes along the water flow direction.

There are two valves in front of the water separator, which are mainly used to clean the filter and close when replacing or repairing the heat metering device; The filter is set to prevent impurities from blocking the flowmeter and heating pipe. The valves and filters in front of the heat metering device can also be replaced by filter ball valves. On the backwater connecting pipe behind the water collector, a drainage pipe should be installed, and a balance valve or other shut-off regulating valve should be added.

System accessories shall be made of corrosion-resistant materials. Install drainage devices for flushing pipes and draining water before acceptance and after maintenance. It is best to have drainage devices such as floor drains nearby. Systems with heat metering requirements should be equipped with heat metering devices.

3. Installation of the floor heating water separator: a bypass is set between the main water inlet pipe of the water separator and the main water outlet pipe of the water collector, and a bypass pipe with a valve is set. The connection position of the bypass pipe should be between the beginning of the main water inlet pipe (in front of the valve) and the end of the main water outlet pipe (behind the valve) to ensure that water does not flow into the heating pipe when flushing the heating pipe system.
