Video tutorial on how to drain water from floor heating.

How to drain the floor heating;

1. First, close all valves of the water collector.

2. Remove the nut on the right side of the drain pipe of the water collector with a wrench.

3. Put away the basin to receive water, then open the main valve of the inlet pipe, and then open the inlet valve of the first branch pipe and the corresponding outlet valve of the branch pipe.

4. Drain the water in each branch pipe in turn until there is heat at the outlet of each branch pipe of the water collector. Finally, screw on the nut.

5. There are connectors and switches on the floor heating water separator, which are respectively used for return pipe and water supply pipes, as well as exhaust valves. When discharging water, turn off return pipe first, leaving only one; Then open the water inlet pipe, let the return pipe flush until the water flow becomes clear, and then let the water go; Then operate other return pipe in turn and drain all the water in return pipe.

Because the floor heating pipeline is laid horizontally, it is difficult to drain water. At present, the common method is to blow it out with compressed air. Even so, there is still a lot of water in the floor heating pipeline, about 3-5%. If you want to drain clean, you can put the sponge bomb attached to the floor heating cleaning machine into the floor heating pipeline, which can basically drain all the water.

Floor heating is short for radiant floor heating, and English is radiant floor heating. It takes the whole floor as the radiator, heats the whole floor evenly by radiating the heat medium in the floor, and supplies heat to the room by radiation and convection through the floor to achieve the purpose of comfortable heating.
