Examples of various weather systems affecting our country

Cold wave: Most areas in our country are affected by the cold wave. Only Tibet, Yunnan-Guizhou region (these two places are due to their high altitude) and Hainan have little impact.

Typhoon: Mainly affects the southeastern coastal areas of my country such as Guangdong, Taiwan, Hainan, and Fujian.

A typhoon is a cyclone.

The subtropical anticyclone (subtropical high pressure) causes drought in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in summer in my country.

Cold front: Heavy rains in northern my country in summer are mostly caused by frontal rain caused by cold fronts. Cold waves that break out in winter are also caused by cold fronts moving southward.

Warm fronts: Obvious warm fronts appear less frequently in my country and are mostly accompanied by cyclones. It generally appears in the Yangtze-Huaihe River Basin and Northeast China in spring and autumn, and in the Yellow River Basin in summer.
