Tong'an Confucius Temple is located on the west bank of Chengdong Creek in Tong'an District, Xiamen City. It was first built in the Five Dynasties and later destroyed. Dacheng Hall was rebuilt in the 32nd year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1767), covering an area of 1,050 square meters. It was rebuilt in 1987.
