Where is the lettuce base in Sichuan?

Pengzhou lettuce cultivation has a long history, and there was a small amount of cultivation during Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. According to the Records of Pengxian County (191-1985), Pengzhou began to introduce and develop local vegetable varieties in the late 1950s, and lettuce was one of them. With the development of social economy, the scale and influence of Pengzhou lettuce have gradually expanded and become the representative of Sichuan's "local dishes".
