Zhouci, located in Anjuba, Jiuzhi Town, Hejiang County, is a two-story building that combines Chinese and Western styles, with an area of1153 square meters and a building area of 1052 square meters. Its architectural layout basically inherits the mode of building temples in Zhu's Family Rites, that is, the gatehouse-sacrificial hall-sleeping hall.
On the whole, it borrowed foreign tower modeling, and the gate followed the traditional archway architectural style of China. Its main body has four pillars and three rooms, and the happy room is a cave with two doors with inscriptions and plaques on them. There is a vertical forehead in the middle of the gate, which is 190cm long and 70cm wide, and is engraved with four one-foot square seal characters, meaning long-term reliance.
On the stone pillars on both sides of the gate, there is a pair of long couplets carved with stone. The first couplet is: mother's birthday celebration, ancestor worship and emblem smell in the ancestral hall. Filial piety is evident, and the meritorious service Cui Wei is immortal; The second department of the Republic of China has been the mainstay, sharing weal and woe with * * *, and the dill stone and white pine shine brilliantly.
Zhou Ci built the bedroom hall upstairs and the cabinet on the right.
The main building, the Sacrifice Hall (Enjoyment Hall), is a two-story building with brick and wood structure. In front of the house, there are two osmanthus trees from Myanmar sent by Yunnan military friends, and now they are two tall yellow orchid trees. There are five semicircles in the middle, which lead to the altar. There is a cloister in front of the main hall, and there are six eaves columns. The pillar is carved with a pair of stone lions, lotus petals and toads.
The sacrificial hall is five rooms wide, the happy room and the second room are the sacrificial hall, and the other room is the sleeping hall.
There is a semi-circular enclosed balcony outside the two rooms. Zhou Xicheng's parents' portraits are hung in the memorial hall, and the memorial tablets of his ancestors are stored. There is an incense table and an altar with a relief pattern of dragon playing with beads on it, a hanging belt at the table, and eight plush chairs in the ancestral hall are stored on the left and right sides. On both sides of the wall, there are murals such as "Seeing Jingzhou from Guan Yunchang", "Tattoo of Mother-in-law" and "Visiting Caotang". The single, nave and couplet calligraphy and painting in the hall are presented by all walks of life in Guizhou, and most of them are made by famous artists, and their contents are eulogies.
Look at the memorial hall. There are foundations under the columns, bas-relief decorations under the eaves of the columns, vaults between the columns, and bas-relief landscape paintings or immortal statues. Windows are retractable wooden shutters. There are algae wells and reliefs, such as "the moon comes first near the water tower", "flowers and trees spring early in the sun" and Tai Chi pictures.
Behind the memorial hall is a wide courtyard dam with four pillars and three granaries on both sides, which are used to store food for sacrifices and daily guardians. On the right side of the memorial hall are the God Pavilion and bungalow buildings.
Zhouci was completed in July 1928 (May of the lunar calendar), and its architecture is very spectacular. "Seeing Yu Fei, Shi Danqing rejuvenating, playing the piano and playing the drums, makes people feel filial." Today, when you climb the stairs and lean against the railing, Wumeng Mountain is towering; The golden sparkling of Chishui River; Living in Shilipingba, rice sea, wheat waves, buildings, bamboo forests, birdsong, insect song, cloud music and mountain response. It is really a "land of feng shui".
