Wu Xiangdong, male, born in Taixing, Jiangsu Province, was born in June 2006 1966 165438. At present, he is a professor, doctoral supervisor, director of the Institute of Marxist Philosophy, director of the China Society of Marxist Philosophy History, director of the China Society of Historical Materialism and director of the Chinese Anthropology Society. 1983 was admitted to the philosophy department of Beijing Normal University, 1990 stayed on as a teacher after graduation. 1999 Ph.D., Department of Philosophy, Beijing Normal University. In June 2004, he was awarded as a doctoral supervisor and in July 2006, he was awarded as a professor. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of Marxist philosophy and Marxist philosophy history. His main research interests are anthropology, value philosophy and political philosophy.

In recent years, he has presided over the National Social Science Foundation 1 project: research on contemporary socialist values, key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education 1 major project: contemporary China cultural value order and construction of socialist core value system, entrusted by the Ministry of Education 1 key project: research on Socialism with Chinese characteristics Theory and socialist core value system, and general project of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education 1. In 2007, he won the first National Master of Education Excellent Teacher, and in 2008, Rebuilding Modernity —— A Study of Contemporary Socialist Values won the second prize of the 10th Beijing Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences.
