How to make antique fans
Preparation materials: 1 piece of 15cm square paper. Other sizes are also available, but it is best not to be smaller than 15cm.
1. Fold the paper in half horizontally first, then fold the left and right sides of the paper in half toward the middle, aligning the creases just now.
2. Then fold the paper on both sides in half three times in a row.
3. After folding it in half, open the paper. As shown in the picture below, one *** is divided into 16 equal parts.
4. Then fold the paper in half horizontally again, and fold it in half twice in a row. Note that the folding direction here is opposite to the previous one, which is a cross shape.
5. Then fold the top paper in half again, keeping the lower paper still.
6. Then unfold everything, that is, 16 horizontal creases and 5 vertical creases.
7. Then fold the 2 sides of the paper in half towards the middle, aligning the 2nd crease on the 2 sides, that is, leaving a blank space for the crease in the middle.
8. Then fold the paper horizontally along the previously folded crease, back and forth, and fold it into accordion pleats.
9. Then fold the paper in half from the middle, apply glue in the middle, and stick it together. Pay attention to pinching the bottom of the fan tightly.
10. Finally, hang the finished tassels on the fan
