How to place the god’s throne?
1. The God’s throne should be placed in the most prosperous place in the room. Everything is auspicious if the God’s seat is seated.
2. The position of the god's throne should not be opposite to that of the room. Otherwise, there will be disharmony in the home.
3. The height and left-right distance of the god's throne should be measured on the ancient Luban ruler. Each scale on the Luban ruler has a name, such as: Cai, Guan, Yi, Ben, and four. The wording is very auspicious.
4. The god's throne cannot face the door, otherwise you will lose money and lose money.
5. There should not be any beams pressing down on the top of the god's throne. If the beams are pressing down on the top, the owner's wealth will definitely not be gathered, and it is easy to be owed debts, causing many twists and turns and disasters.
6. The shrine should not be placed next to the toilet or near a grave.
7. There cannot be stairs, kitchen, toilet, or couple’s room behind the altar. Apartment-style buildings are available if they have cement walls.
8. Don’t pile up debris, trash cans, fish tanks, electrical appliances, or debris under the shrine. It is unlucky and will lead to trouble at home and many illnesses.
9. If the god's position is placed in the Five Yellow Sha direction, the children will be unfilial and lonely.
10. The god's throne cannot touch the toilet or toilet, otherwise the owner will lose money.
11. Clothes cannot be dried in front of the altar, as this is disrespectful to the gods.
12. There should be no direct lighting or obstruction in front of and above the altar.
13. The altar cannot face the bedroom, toilet, kitchen, corner of the house, foundation line, water tower, telephone pole, high-voltage object, or sharp object.
14. Statues and photos of gods and Buddhas that have not been consecrated or blessed cannot be placed on the table. No non-sacred table supplies and sundries can be placed.
15. The number of statues on the altar should be an odd number. If it exceeds seven or more gods and Buddhas, only palaces and temples can use them. Generally, there are no more than five statues in a home.
16. The best place to place the shrine is in the residential area, facing the same direction as the door.
17. If there is an ancestor’s tablet in the house, it should be enshrined in it.
18. Do not move the incense burner on the altar arbitrarily, but it does not matter if the gods’ supplies can be taken down for cleaning and wiping.
19. If you want to move the gods and incense burners, you must ask a Feng Shui master to pick an auspicious day before moving them.
20. When placing a god's throne, be sure to hire a Feng Shui master to identify the location and choose a good day to place it.
21. The height of the main deity should not be lower than the statue of the deputy deity. It is easy to be too low or too high.
22. There should be no mirrors or aquariums directly in front of the altar.
