Nature is a mysterious magician. Show people its magic and create small question marks for us to find out. Last summer, when I was playing in the yard, I found the same kind of flowers with different colors. After searching for information, I finally found the reason.

If the color of flowers changes between red, blue and purple, this is the function of anthocyanins. Anthocyanin is an organic pigment. As long as the temperature and pH change slightly, it will change color immediately. But flowers are not just red, blue and purple. What about other colors?

Look up "1, Why" again, and I know that the change between yellow, orange and red flowers is due to carotene. Carotene is also an organic element, and many flowers contain carotene. I thought, do you have black flowers? After searching online, I realized that although there are many colors of flowers in the world, black flowers are very rare.

Because black can absorb all the light waves, the black petals will heat up quickly in the sun, and the flower tissues will be easily burned, which is not conducive to the self-protection of flowers. Moreover, black flowers are not easy to cultivate, so there are few varieties preserved naturally. It is also very difficult to artificially create black varieties, even if the chances of obtaining black flowers through hybridization are slim.
