The ancient town of Langzhong is home to the tomb of Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng. It has excellent Feng Shui and rich history.

"Langzhong Love" is an advertising song often played by CCTV Movie Channel. The beautiful music and beautiful scenery make people obsessed with the ancient city on the Jialing River. In fact, as early as the Tang Dynasty, two powerful figures were obsessed with Langzhong. They were famous Feng Shui masters and prophets. They were still close friends, but they fought fiercely over a piece of land. Thousands of years later, the place was named after two figures. These two powerful figures are Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng, and this is Tiangong Township, Langzhong City.

Tiangong Township is the burial place of Li Chunfeng and Yuan Tiangang. If just two ancient people were buried here, it would not be enough to explain the difference here. An ordinary town has received the focus of Langzhong, a famous tourist city. A small town (township) with not very convenient transportation can seize the lower intersection of an important highway from the next town's nose 10 kilometers away and seize it. Named after the things under its jurisdiction, an ordinary town (township) has been selected into the list of "national" names. This town is not simple.

Tiangong Township is located in the southwest of Langzhong City. Starting from Langzhong City, drive slowly for 12 kilometers along the G75 Lanhai Expressway to the Tiangongyuan Interchange Toll Station. After exiting the toll station, drive west along the rural road for 10 kilometers. Arrive at the location of Tiangong Xiangchang Street.

There have been human activities in Tiangong Township very early. It has been the seat of Chongguo County since the Eastern Han Dynasty to Nanliang. At that time, its status as the county seat can be seen. Zhao Yun once stationed troops here for training. Now there are Jiangjun Temple (Zhao Yun Temple) ruins, there are also many historical relics such as Han Chongguo County ruins, Han tombs, Longshan Ancient Post Road, etc. Therefore, there is a strong flavor of Han culture and Three Kingdoms culture here.

In the Tang Dynasty, two masters, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng, felt that this place was good after their own Feng Shui inspections. Yuan Tiangang thought that he discovered this place first and buried copper coins as a mark, while Li Chunfeng thought that he discovered it first and inserted a gold needle as a mark. The two dug in the soil and found that the gold needle just inserted into the eye of the money, so they laughed, and then they both retired to seclusion. The latter two passed away. Li Chunfeng was buried on Wulong Mountain 3 kilometers away from Tiangongyuan (which did not exist at the time). The cemetery, Paoma Mountain and Huilong Mountain nearby formed a "two dragons holding pearls" pattern. Yuan Tiangang was buried in Guanjia Mountain, 1 km away from Tiangongyuan. The cemetery faces north and south, forming a "unicorn running toward the sun" pattern together with Longshan, Dengjiahe and Fengming River. We are close friends in life and die next to each other. They are born with feng shui and buried with feng shui. Sigh! Thousands of years have passed, and the stone dome-shaped tomb of the two men is still intact, waiting for future generations to move to pay their respects.

After the two masters passed away, people built a courtyard on a nearby mountain to commemorate them. This place is a basin surrounded by nine deep hills and mountains. There is a stone platform on the basin, forming a Feng Shui pattern of "Nine Dragons Holding Saints". Tiangongyuan was first built in the Tang Dynasty, but was later damaged. It was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty (1459) and has been preserved ever since. Tiangongyuan is a courtyard-style building. The entire building is built on a high platform, with a bucket frame and white walls and black tiles. The main hall of the Tiangong Courtyard is a double-eaves pavilion, 19.4 meters wide (five rooms) and 19.3 meters deep, giving people a sense of spaciousness and grandeur. The Guanyin Hall is also built in the style of double eaves and buckets, with three rooms wide and three rooms inside. There are books in the courtyard. The plaque "Guangcheng Huijing" dated to the Yongzheng period. There is a compass square (super-large compass) in front of the hospital, and there are ancient buildings such as the Bone Weighing Tower and the Niuwang Pavilion nearby.

Tiangongyuan plays a very important role in the local area. Every year from the second to the sixteenth day of the first lunar month of the lunar calendar, temple fairs are held here, with performances such as Sichuan opera and deity performances, which is very lively.

In addition to Feng Shui culture, the traditional residential culture here is also not to be missed. Like the ordinary mother city of Langzhong, a large number of ancient residences have been preserved here, among which the Miao Family Ancient Courtyard and the Zheng Family Courtyard are representatives.

Langzhong Love, after you are intoxicated by the tranquility of the ancient city, why not drive 20 kilometers to this small town to pay homage to the two legendary masters, feel the Feng Shui, and see the ancient folk houses in northern Sichuan?
