Tang Xianzong Yuan and Zhongxing were demoted by Han Yuli, a cruel official.
It seems that most of the wounds of the Anshi Rebellion have healed, and the haze of the Jingyuan mutiny has dissipated a lot. After casting a few headstrong literati who were ignorant of the current affairs to the barren people, young Tang Xianzong stepped onto the historical stage and created a story of Zhongxing, which was called Yuan and Zhongxing in history.
The literati in the Tang Dynasty had distinct personalities. The dissolute and romantic spirit of Wei, Jin and Southern Dynasties flowed over them, and the Confucian etiquette Yi Lun also restrained them. They are eager to be on the stage, Tao Jun. On the other hand, they are often humble and have no influence on the political direction. What they can do is to chant the great harmony of three generations of Yao and Shun again and again in their poems, or to run under the door of one ruler after another with their painstakingly crafted articles. In the end, they will get a reputation for being dry and competitive, or a vulgar ridicule.
seeing the years pass by, I have never seen the face of the son of heaven, and the ideal is the ideal after all. Or put a white deer on the green cliff, or cry out in vain: I am a mountain man, do I envy the wealth of the world? Tears don't taste the flow, the world is always peaceful, drinking and playing the piano, just dying. Or there are also a few literati who have won the lottery and become officials, and they are waiting for this time. Alas, it's always unlucky to be born. The king is a wise king, and he only hates a few eunuchs and honey-mouthed villains. The clouds cover the sun, but he can do nothing.
Tang Xianzong was an excellent monarch, and his talent and courage were no less than those of Emperor Xuandi, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty. However, the literati in the Tang Dynasty were full of sadness because of him. Han Yu, a famous writer in the article, strongly advised Xian Zongchong to welcome Buddha's bones, but he could only live in Chaozhou. Can this loyal behavior win the sympathy of the world? The old Tang books written in the Five Dynasties only simply said, "My conduct is firm and upright, and I am poor at world affairs!"!
after reading this sentence, I suddenly feel that the chronic diseases of literati are all in these eight characters! As the most unyielding people of that era, they were filial to their father and loyal to you, but they just ignored the distance between ideal and reality. Although none of them know the truth about Yao and Shun, they must and are willing to firmly believe in the political clarity of Yao and Shun's era and the enlightenment of three generations later. They always have the belief of being a monarch to Yao and Shun, and the ancient and peaceful world has become the source of their dreams. They are always anxious about the world, and they are eager to show their ambitions, for themselves and for the world.
Therefore, they are ignorant of world affairs, and they don't know how many dangers are hidden behind political clarity. When the Yuan Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty were full of buffer regions, what Tang Xianzong needed was no longer the so-called enlightenment, but more direct and solid strength. What he needs is not a loyal minister and an honest official, but a strong minister he can control and an adviser who is greedy for money and goods. When order is established in a chaotic world, morality, benevolence and righteousness can be put on hold for the time being, because adhering to these will only make the world suffer more, including the people and the literati.
So Tang Xianzong needs those cruel officials, corrupt officials and petty officials, and so do the people. When Tang Xianzong of Yingwu razed all the buffer regions, it was these contemptible people who played a key role. The funds needed for logistics transshipment are precisely supplied by these petty officials who are good at collecting and managing money; Responsible for fighting in the front, it is also those who wait and see the arrogance of the buffer region. However, the literati wrote to Xian Zong again and again, urging Xian Zong to stop fighting and support the people
. This ancient saying really injected their lofty ideals into the chanting of the literati in the Tang Dynasty. Ke Xianzong coldly and resolutely rejected this ancient and decadent proposal, and forged Yuan and Zhongxing in the literati's emotion and sadness.
Perhaps only at the moment when Xian Zong was murdered by eunuchs and the Tang Dynasty collapsed, the literati were really relieved, and their prediction that they would die because of their illegal ancient road finally came true. The reality has given them the opportunity to sigh with emotion, which proves that they are people who really realize the crisis after the Qing Dynasty. But history rolled forward, engulfing their sad words, leaving only the name of Yuanhe Zhongxing and ten thousand volumes of poems and articles, proving the existence of all this in the past.
Scholars of later generations did not give Yuan and Zhongxing a high evaluation. This prosperous time cast by soldiers and bloodshed is not the peaceful world in their dreams. They continue to search for the second Yao and the second Shun in the world. Until then, it is time for them to really enter politics. However, the literati in the Tang Dynasty left footprints in front of the bottomless river with political turbidity, but they did not really step into this clear source of their dreams.
