Indoor temperature control

Attention to personal hygiene

You can brush your teeth, wash your hair and take a bath in summer. Pay special attention to protecting your teeth in the second month, because during pregnancy and childbirth, the calcium loss in your mother's body is more serious, so rinse your mouth after meals and brush your teeth before going to bed. Choose to dry your hair naturally after washing, and don't use a hair dryer. If you feel uncomfortable because of sweating, you can choose to take a shower, or you can ask your family to help you take a bath with warm water in the morning and evening.

Indoor dehumidification

Pay attention to indoor dehumidification. The climate is changeable in summer, especially in the south. Sometimes the air humidity is too high, so air conditioner can be used to remove the humidity. It is advisable to keep the indoor humidity at about 55%.

Indoor ventilation

Pay attention to ventilation indoors. It is not advisable to close the doors and windows in summer, and often open the windows for ventilation to keep the indoor air fresh. In order to prevent the new mother from catching cold when taking a breath, convection can't be used. You can open all the windows when you go out.

Avoid sexual intercourse

Pay attention to avoid sexual intercourse. I won't have sex until my wife is fully recovered. Premature recovery of sexual life, because the wound in the uterus has not healed, is easy to lead to puerperal infection, and even cause adverse consequences such as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
