The weather is getting colder and the pediatric clinic is full every day. What are the three things you should do in your daily life?
If we go to the pediatric outpatient clinics of many hospitals now, we will find that the number of children with colds, fevers, and coughs is gradually increasing. In addition to the fact that most children now have relatively low body resistance, another reason is that winter is about to enter and the weather is starting to get cooler. At this stage, parents must pay attention to their children's physical health and must do the following three things.
1. Parents should be careful not to let their children catch cold
There are many reasons for children to catch cold in life. The most typical one is that the temperature difference between day and night is relatively large. Many parents feel that today's weather is quite warm during the day, so they wear thinner clothes for their children. However, when the children get out of school in the afternoon or at night, the weather becomes cooler. Children are likely to feel uncomfortable due to this rapid drop in temperature. In more severe cases, symptoms such as nausea and vomiting may occur.
2. Let children participate in more physical exercises
If parents can make their children fall in love with physical exercise, it is of course a very good thing. As mentioned above, due to various electronic products, today's children have less and less time to go out and their physical fitness is getting worse and worse. This is actually one of the main reasons why they often get sick and go to pediatric outpatient clinics.
3. Minimize the possibility of children being exposed to germs
We all know that children like to be in groups, and they will come into contact with each other when playing games. During this process, if one child catches a cold or becomes sick, the germs may be transmitted to other children. Therefore, parents should try to reduce the opportunities for their children to go out during some special periods such as the change of seasons.
