Where is Tiandengpo?
tiandengpo is located in Changshun county surrounded by mountains, at 16 26' 15 "east longitude and 26 2' 3" north latitude. The ancient trees on the mountain are towering, the rocks are rugged, the trees are lush, green and full of vitality in late spring and midsummer, and the old trees are everywhere in late autumn and winter, which is a symbol of Changshun Mountain.
The original name of Tiandengpo is Yonggushan. There is a legend about this famous house: among the people in Changzhai, it is said that Tiandengpo and Shuijingpo (the hill with a pavilion on the top of the martyrs' cemetery on the left) are a pair of passionate lovers. They often take human forms and have a tryst before the flowers and under the moon. Therefore, they attracted the jealousy of feudal guardians and framed them as immoral. During the Qianlong period, a magistrate of a county, together with local gentry, decided to build a wall to change the geomantic Long Mai of the town on the pretext that they were harmful to geomantic omen. On the eve of the liberation of Guizhou, a beacon tower was built on the top of the mountain. In this way, when the city is attacked, it will be lit as a signal on the beacon tower to consolidate the city forever. Therefore, the beacon tower is called the permanent fixed tower. This mountain in the city is also officially named as Yonggu Mountain.
there is also a legend that yonggushan was renamed tiandengpo. During the Jiaqing period, an official from Henan came to Changzhai. Soon after he took office, in order to flaunt his integrity and honesty as an official, he spread rumors among his subordinates and gentry, saying that his parents had made a vow to heaven before he was born, and that if he was born a boy, he would be an official in the future and must do good for the masses. To this end, he personally boarded the Yonggu Mountain. After a simple exploration, he spread the myth of Long Mai's trend and popular water transportation in Yonggu Mountain, and erected a light pole on the beacon tower. Every evening, a bright lantern is hung on the lamp pole, named "Sky Lantern", which means "Sky Lantern is high, the country is peaceful and the people are safe". Since then, Yonggushan has been renamed Tiandengpo.
in p>192, a new county magistrate named Li Jingsheng came to Changzhai, a native of Bailiu, Guangxi. He brought a younger brother Li Dansheng as his staff. Li Dansheng is a superstitious fanatic, claiming to be proficient in Feng Shui and Yin and Yang. Bored with boredom, he often waded through mountains and rivers to check the direction of the earth's veins, and made up many myths that puzzled people. Because of its high terrain and low-lying walls, Changzhai City has only two wells for the whole city to drink. In winter, the water shortage is serious, and the people are living in poverty and living conditions are extremely poor. What they burn is thatched firewood, and what they light is oil lamps and torches. A little carelessness can easily lead to fires. When Li Dansheng saw this, he put on a fairy posture to deceive the people, saying that the reason why Changzhai burned houses year after year was because Yangcheng electricity was like a torch, and it was located in the south. According to five lines of gossip, the south made a fire, so the city couldn't open the south gate, and he instructed Changshun to open four gates and three gates. To avoid the disaster of fire burning, water was the only way to avoid it. Therefore, it is necessary to build a Dragon King Temple on Tiandengpo to welcome the Dragon King of the Four Seas to worship it, so that the water of the Four Seas can subdue the fire. * * * Brother Li Jingsheng is also a foolish man. He listened to Li Dansheng's words and was about to confiscate several tile houses of Gao Jingxian, a habitual bandit, and build them on the top of the Tiandeng Slope. A Dragon King Temple appeared on the Tiandeng Slope.
In p>1938, Liu Zhongya, the new county magistrate of Changzhai, died in a sharp conflict between local forces. In recognition of Liu Zhongya's integrity of "dying in the line of duty and being loyal-",the successor county magistrate enshrined Liu's bloody clothes in the Longwang Temple in Tiandengpo, and changed the Longwang Temple into a shrine of martyrs. In "", because of breaking the "four old", the Martyrs' Temple was demolished.
With the passage of time, the face of Tiandengpo has been greatly improved. People don't have to climb the thorny path to and from Tiandengpo, and spacious and flat cement steps connect the county seat with Tiandengpo. The top of the sky lantern slope, a foolish historical relic, has disappeared, and the bell tower, a landmark building in Changshun, has been replaced.
At present, the Tiandengpo is covered with trees, and looks like a kingfisher from afar. Climbing up the stone stairs and having a bird's eye view of the whole city, you can have a panoramic view of the rural scenery, which is refreshing. On August 1, 1984, Changshun County People's Government announced it as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit with Chang Zheng Zi (1984) No.42.
