The origin of Naihe Bridge and Broken Bridge
Naihe Bridge: Located halfway up the famous mountain, with a construction area of 25.8 square meters, it was built in the Yongle Year of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424). It was originally an auxiliary building of the Liuyang Palace. This is a "testing bridge" that communicates history and reality, connects the underworld and the yang world, examines goodness and evil, and declares survival and death.
The word "Naihe" comes from Sanskrit, which means "hell". Legend has it that after people die and come here, the guilty souls cannot cross the bridge. They will be thrown into the "blood river pool" by the imps on both sides and tortured by insects, ants and poisonous snakes. However, it is very easy for the good souls to cross the bridge. Naihe Bridge is also the legendary first pass to hell. There is a golden bridge on the left and a silver bridge on the right. It is said that people who walk on the golden bridge can get promoted and get rich, while those who cross the silver bridge can be healthy and safe. However, when leading to the underworld, we must first cross the Naihe Bridge in the middle. The Golden Bridge and Silver Bridge can only be walked when the Yang returns. Legend has it that in the late Ming Dynasty, there was a rich man called Zhao in Fengdu City. He was rich and ruthless and plundered people's fat and anointing. He was known as "Zhao Shiwan". One time, he went up the mountain to burn incense. When he was crossing the Nai River Bridge, he fell into the Blood River Pool and drowned alive. This may be a coincidence, but the important thing is that this story warns people not to be corrupt and bend the law, nor to be unkind for the sake of wealth. Although the current policy allows some people to get rich first, those who get rich first must not be full of lust and lust, but must use righteousness and distribute wealth, help the weak and the poor, and lead everyone on the road to common prosperity. Because as the saying goes: Money is an external thing, health and peace are blessings. A person can have a healthy body and a good mentality, which is the greatest wealth
