As a transportation hub in northern Tianjin, Intercity Station will exert its radiation effect in the future, attracting people from Beijing, Hebei, the central city and Binhai New Area. In addition, the first and last stations of M3 and M7 subway lines are also located here, which can be connected with the future Ninghe Science and Technology City through rail transit in the future.

The east side of the region is adjacent to the Lugang Logistics Equipment Industrial Park, with Dabeihuan Railway, customs supervision places and bonded warehouses. It is the logistics distribution center of "four-type combined transport" of roads, railways, aviation and shipping. The southern part of this area is an expansion area around the eastern part of the national development zone, which has a good industrial base.
