Commercial characteristics of Dashilan

It seems that the whole Dashilan has never experienced the largest transformation in history. In the middle of Old Beijing, there used to be a shopping formula: buy shoes for inline promotion, buy hats and horses for gathering sources, snack Qingyun Pavilion, buy Bu Rui Fu Xiang, buy watches for Hendry, buy tea for Zhang Yiyuan, buy pickles for Liubiju and buy snacks for Zhengmingzhai. The renovation scope starts from Qianmen Street in the east, south Xinhua Street in the west, zhushikou West Street in the south and Qianmen West Street in the north, with a total length of 266m and a total area of 1. 1 km2.

At the opening press conference, Wang Yongxin, deputy head of Xuanwu District and spokesperson, introduced that in May 2007, the overall renovation project of Dashilan Commercial Street was officially launched. In this renovation, the buildings in the street are divided into four categories: cultural relics restoration, protection and renovation, and landscape decoration and renovation. Among them, four buildings such as Yichenghou and Ruifuxiang are cultural relics restoration, and 12 buildings are protection and renovation, such as Goubuli, Ruifuxiang Hongji, Guangdelou Theater, Buyingzhai, Zhang Yiyuan Teahouse and Tongrentang Pharmacy.
