Names of ancient famous musical instruments

According to the materials used in making musical instruments in ancient China, they are divided into eight categories, namely, gold, stone, earth, leather, silk, wood, enamel and bamboo, which are called "eight tones":

Gold: such as chimes, cymbals and cymbals.

Earth: jade

Leather: Like a drum
