The higher the temperature, if patients stop taking drugs at this time, it will increase the possibility of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accidents, such as stroke and myocardial infarction. In addition, drug withdrawal can easily lead to an increase in blood viscosity and a higher thrombosis rate, which is as dangerous as autumn and winter.

Whether hypertension can stop depends on whether it is primary hypertension or secondary hypertension. Essential hypertension usually cannot be stopped, and antihypertensive drugs must be taken orally for a long time. For secondary hypertension, such as secondary aldosteronism caused by renal artery stenosis and adrenal hyperplasia, drugs can be stopped after operation. This kind of hypertension caused by autoimmune diseases also needs permanent drug treatment.

If you find high blood pressure, you must go to the hospital for treatment and find out the cause of high blood pressure. If it is essential hypertension, don't stop taking medicine at will. It is suggested to continue taking antihypertensive drugs, pay attention to a low-salt and low-fat diet, avoid greasy food, eat more fruits, and go to the hospital regularly to check the fluctuation of blood pressure.
