What is the difference between Chengkan and Tangmo?
Difference 1: Different geographical locations
Chengkan: Chengkan is located at the southern foot of Huangshan Scenic Area, a world natural and cultural heritage in Anhui Province (29°55′ north latitude, 118° east longitude °15′; It is part of the ancient Huizhou Cultural Tourism Area, a national 5A tourist attraction. It is located five kilometers northeast of Foziling section of the highway leading to Huangshan from Huizhou District), 40 kilometers from Huangshan to the north and Huizhou District to the south** *Residence---15 kilometers from Yansi Town.
Tangmo: Tangmo Village was originally under the jurisdiction of She County, Anhui Province, and now belongs to Huizhou District.
It was founded by Shuju, the great-great-grandfather of Wang Hua, Duke of Yue in the Tang Dynasty.
Difference 2: The scenery is different
Chengkan: It has pastoral gossip, dense old houses and other scenic spots.
Tang Mo: It has scenic spots such as Hanlin Square, Tangan Garden, Shadi Pavilion, Old Workshop Yangliu Yiyi, Water Street, Sophora Tree, Mirror Pavilion and so on.
Difference three: different histories
Chengkan: formerly known as Longxi, it was built in the Three Kingdoms period of the Eastern Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,800 years. It was named by the famous Neo-Confucian Zhu Xi as early as the Song Dynasty. It is praised as: "Chengkan Shuangxianli, the first village in Jiangnan".
It now has 21 national key protected cultural relics and is known as the "Hometown of National Treasures".
Tang Mo: It was built in the Tang Dynasty and was originally called Tangan.
In 923 AD, Wang Sili, a descendant of Wang Hua, Duke of Yue Kingdom of the Tang Dynasty, was ordered by his father to marry the Cheng family here. Then he moved to the village and used Feng Shui principles to plant ginkgo trees and select sites to build his home.
