Where is Tabingzhao Village located?
"Tabing" means "fifty" in Mongolian. It is said that in the early years of the Qing Dynasty, it was used to improve communication and maintain peace on the border. Six inns were built in Yimeng, and the pagoda was called the third inn, which was under the management of the Junwang Banner. Its original name was the Shahukou Pasture Station of the Mongolian and Tibetan Committee. There was no one living in Ta Bing Zhao in the past. Fifty households of Mongolian herdsmen moved in from the Junwang Banner to serve as messengers. At the same time, the herdsmen built a Zhao temple here according to the ethnic beliefs, so it was named Ta Bing Zhao. The Jun Wang Banner is now Yiqi, Dongsheng. In the past, messengers did not receive a salary from the court. Each household was given a piece of official land (about 2,000 acres of land) for farming and grazing to make a living. People at the post station did not have to contribute military service, slavery, or taxes to the court. It was not until the liberation of the tower that it was recalled to Daqi for management.
