What happened to Audi warm air?
According to the type of heat source, there are two heating systems for automobile air conditioners. One is to use engine coolant as a heat source, which is currently used by most models on the market. The other is to use fuel as the heat source, which is mainly used for a few middle and high-end cars. The common principle is that when the engine coolant temperature is high, the coolant flows through the heat exchanger (small heating box) in the heating system, and the air sent by the blower exchanges heat with the automobile engine coolant. After heating, the air is sent into the car by the blower through various outlets.
In some high-end cars, there will also be a warm air water valve to cut off the coolant circulation of the warm air tank when the warm air is not used, so as to reduce unnecessary heat loss. If the heater water valve is damaged, the coolant may not enter the heater box, resulting in the heater not being hot. (Photo/Text/Photo: Pacific Auto Network Guo Shanshan-Part-time)
