Wailingding is one of the Wanshan Islands in Zhuhai, and it is said to be the most beautiful one. If the weather is good, you can see Hong Kong's outlying islands across the sea, so we decided to take a trip codenamed "Love Wai Ling Ding".

First, let’s popularize the knowledge about Wailingding Island (Note: Wailingding Island is located southeast of Xiangzhou, Zhuhai). Features: The terrain is high in the east and west, low in the north and middle, and the east coast is steep with an inclination of 35 degrees.

Dingling Peak, the main peak in the center of the island, is 311.8 meters high. When the weather is clear, you can see Hong Kong, Guishan and other islands as well as the entire sea along the islands. Wailingding Island is located in the east of Zhuhai City, at the mouth of the Pearl River, 27 nautical miles from Cheung Chau, Hong Kong to the west and 6 nautical miles from Cheung Chau, Hong Kong to the north, covering an area of ​​4.23 square kilometers. It is the only island from which you can see the center of Hong Kong.

Wailingding Island is unique among the dotted Wanshan Islands. The island is small but beautiful, the mountains are not high but beautiful, and it is especially famous for its clear water and strange rocks. The beaches of Dinling Bay, Ta Bay and Dadong Bay on the island have fine sand and clear blue water.

Dingling Peak, the main peak on the island, is 311.8 meters high. There is a Tiantong Cave from the middle of the mountain to the top of the mountain.

Since we chose to start during the Dragon Boat Festival public holiday, air tickets were quite tight. In the budget, I chose to book tickets on TB (ticket 67 yuan, TB 75 yuan), and book accommodation on Ctrip (note: this is just an unhappy thing during the trip) in order to catch the urban train from Zhongshan North to Zhuhai Station in the early morning.

The boat ride takes about one and a half hours and stops at Guishan Island. When we arrived at Wailingding Island, a light sea breeze with a fishy smell blew in our face. Fortunately, the weather forecast predicts heavy rain in Zhuhai these days. We were worried that the trip would be spent in the rain, but at this time the sun was shining brightly outside Dingling.

It was almost four o'clock when we got off the boat, and I didn't think about anything else. First, we have to check in at the inn booked by X-Cheng. Trouble is coming. I don’t believe that the famous Ctrip will deceive consumers. When we arrived at the inn, we found that the inn we booked at X-Cheng had changed hands and the phone number left by the merchant was empty.

My girlfriend immediately called Ctrip, but she was still confused, alas! X-Net actually displays information online even if the merchant does not do so, which really hurts consumers! Housing prices are expensive during the Dragon Boat Festival, usually starting at 300 yuan.

Fortunately, I walked around and found a small hotel to stay in! The cheapest price is 180 yuan! It was almost 5 o'clock when we dropped off our things at the small hotel. Before the sun sets, the two of us will climb to the highest peak of Wading Ling Peak to watch the sunset, check information online, and climb the mountain exhaustingly for more than an hour!

Fortunately, Wailingding Island did not disappoint me. When I was halfway up the mountain, I looked down at Dinling Island. It was really beautiful, and when I reached the top of the mountain, I felt even more beautiful!

Dingling Peak is a very peculiar mountain. The top of the mountain is basically filled with boulders of various sizes and weird shapes. It doesn't look majestic from below, but it's really not that beautiful when viewed from the mountain. Since there are not many tourists on the mountain at dusk, it is very convenient to take good photos and take photos of my lover. It’s human nature to hate taking photos slowly!

How beautiful the sunset shines on the sea!

< p>At 7 o'clock, I arrived at the foot of the mountain. After taking some photos at dusk, some fishing boats on the pier of Wailingding Square were selling freshly caught seafood. There were not too many varieties. I heard from tourists that there is a seafood market in front, and you can buy and process it at nearby food stalls. Since you have come to Wailingding Island, a seafood feast is indispensable.

As for the price of seafood, it is quite moderate. Not expensive, not cheap, but better than freshness. There are general caps, dog claw snails, sea urchins, red crabs, etc. in the local area. There are really many varieties! We bought three large red crabs, five small groupers, and one large octopus, which were processed at a nearby food stall for 120 yuan (note: 50 yuan does not include processing fees). The processing fee ranges from 10 to 20 yuan. Three kinds of seafood make three delicious seafood meals, delicious!

I got up very early this morning. It was less hot and sunny in the morning.

It’s so nice to take a sea bath! In fact, the beach outside Dinling is very small, the sand is not fine enough, and the water is not very good. Let’s go for a dip when you come! Grab your waterproof bag and head out. It's actually quite beautiful outside. The sun shines on the beach, shining with golden light, and there is a layer of fog on Dingling Peak. With sunshine, there is no feeling!

Why are there big leaves on the beach?

Actually, I can’t swim, I can only take a dip, and I’m not very interested. When I get back to the hotel, wash up and put on clean clothes, I'll go for a walk on the beach. In fact, there is a beautiful place on Wailingding Island. The promenade built along the island has huge rocks and the sea. I can go to catch shrimps and crabs in the stone crevices, and I can also dig out the special military caps of Wailingding Island. The water on the other side is relatively clear and has bubble feet. recommend!

Wailingding Square is so beautiful during the day, especially the overpass, which is quite interesting. What's more, there is a stranded fishing boat on the beach, which looks a bit like the Shipwreck Bay where "Descendants of the Sun" was filmed.

Walking around, there are a lot of seafood for sale on Wailingding Island. Learn to bargain! Otherwise you will be slaughtered! I tried the seaweed paste made from local seaweed, which was cool and refreshing. It's a bit like white jelly, and I bought a small bag.

Because I had to catch the boat back to Zhuhai after 12 o'clock, I had a special lunch on the island. There are sea urchin and rice rolls for NT$25 for a large plate. It feels average and not cheap! There is also a bowl of seafood, shrimp and crab porridge for 15 yuan a serving of fried noodles, which is simple.
