What are the climatic characteristics of Kashgar?

Kashgar belongs to the continental arid climate zone of warm temperate zone. The climatic characteristics are as follows: ① There are abundant light and heat resources in the growing season of crops in the plain area; ② There is no severe cold in winter, but the low temperature period is long; ③ There are few harmful high-temperature weather in summer, short hot summer period and abundant light and heat resources; ④ Early spring, windy spring, sandstorm and dusty weather.

The annual average temperature is below 5℃. ⑤ Kunlun Mountain climate zone. It mainly includes the south of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County and the south of Yecheng County. The annual average temperature is below 5℃, the mountain peaks are covered with snow all year round, and the climate is very cold, which can be divided into cold and warm seasons.
