Dragon Vein
The Weihe River has rough waves, constantly receiving and integrating various tributaries, and crossing the Guanzhong Plain with the force of breaking bamboo. It has a wide basin and fertile land. . The confluence of the Wei River, Ba River, Feng River and other rivers is an auspicious Feng Shui place for the establishment of capitals in the past dynasties. Known as: Qinzhong has been an imperial state since ancient times. Qinchuan, 800 miles away, is majestic and full of wind and energy. In the dense purple air, there is an unstoppable aura of leaping dragons and tigers. The aura of dragon and tiger envelopes Qinchuan, this is the land of abundance!
1. Dragon Veins
The Qin State, which has always been called a small remote border country in the Central Plains, seemed to become powerful overnight, like a giant suddenly standing in front of all the countries in the Central Plains, which stunned the monarchs of all countries. The seven heroes fought together, and Qin soon became stronger than the other six countries.
The warlocks, with their sharp tongues, began to agitate everywhere, saying that it was only a matter of time before Qin destroyed the six kingdoms, because Qin arose from Longxiang, and the true dragon's veins were filled with purple air and the clouds were steaming and glowing.
The Taoist priest Qin Shihuang, the first emperor throughout the ages, mainly looked at the mountains, landforms, water flows and climate when looking at Feng Shui. When choosing an auspicious place, pay attention to six things: first, look at the water mouth, second, look at the wild situation, third, look at the mountain shape, fourth, look at the soil color, fifth, look at the water structure, and sixth, look at the mountain facing the water.
When looking specifically at geography, pay attention to five points. These are the five secrets of geography: dragon, cave, sand, water, and direction.
The Five Secrets are five methods and tricks, with different contents and different methods, so they have different names. The Five Secrets are called the Dragon Method, the Cave Method, the Sand Method, the Water Method, and the Xiang Method; and Because of their different emphases, they are also called looking for dragons, observing sand, observing water, pointing holes, and choosing directions.
Taoist priests studied Feng Shui and once proposed the idea of the Xuankong Creation Field, which integrates mountains, light, water, air, orientation, airflow, etc. into one. Surrounded by mountains and water, there must be Qi. When the Qi meets the wind, it will disperse, and the wind is the medium for sending Qi. When choosing a feng shui auspicious place in the capital, the key point is to examine its mountain topography and feng shui potential, including its ancestral mountain, main mountain, dragon veins, dragon caves, feng shui caves, etc.
Zu Mountain: the starting mountain of the mountains behind the main site.
Shaozu Mountain: The hill in front of Zushan is equivalent to the shadow wall of Zushan.
Main Mountain: The main peak behind the main site and in front of Zu Mountain is so majestic that it is called Lailong Mountain.
Dragon Vein: The mountain range connecting Zushan Mountain, Shaozu Mountain and the main mountain chain.
Dragon Cave: The best location of the main site is called Dragon Cave. It is usually in front of the main mountain and is located in the center of the Feng Shui embrace that hides wind and water. It is the best condensation point for the auspicious purple energy in the world. It is also the most suitable Feng Shui auspicious place for living and a blessed place to park the coffins of ancestors.
Qinglong: The secondary peak on the left side of the main site, also known as Zuofu.
White Tiger: There is a secondary peak on the right side of the main site, also known as Youbi.
Mountain protection: the peaks outside Qinglong and Baihu Mountains.
Anshan: A nearby mountain separated by a stream of water in front of the main site.
Chaoshan: There is a stream of water in front of the main site and distant mountains across the mountain. The mountains surround it on the left and right, gathering good atmosphere, stability and safety.
Shuikou Mountain: The two mountains on the left and right where the river flows out in front of the main site. The peaks face each other across the water. They are usually the entrance to bustling towns. They are also known as Turtle Mountain, Snake Mountain, Elephant Mountain and Lion Mountain. Water governs wealth. This is the confluence of rivers, which is where water gathers and gathers energy. It is naturally a good place for people to live.
Chinese Taoist Feng Shui theory emphasizes the layout of the capital and the multiple closures and overall closure of the living space.
Behind the main site, with the main mountain as a barrier, the mountains and rivers are connected and overlap each other. The mountains extend to the left and right, forming an encirclement.
In front of the main site stands a mountain, and the remaining veins stretch, sealing the front, leaving an outlet for the water flow, and Shuikou Mountain forms a natural barrier. This is the first encirclement circle.
Outside this enclosing circle are Shaozu Mountain, Qinglong Mountain, Baihu Mountain behind the main mountain and the mountain guards on both sides, as well as Chaoshan Mountain outside Anshan Mountain, forming a second enclosing circle.
A good Feng Shui place is a place surrounded by mountains and water that is full of wind and energy. When Qi encounters wind, it disperses, and when bounded by water, it stops. Surrounded by mountains and water, it must be a circular terrain, which is a good place to store water and gather energy.
Ring-shaped objects are the best structures in nature to absorb good air and store water. In fact, ring-shaped receivers receive the best signals. The royal lotus, the king of lotus flowers, is shaped like a large basin and is perfect. Trumpet-shaped flowers absorb sunlight best in nature.
The Taoist "Nei Jing" says: The mountains to the west of the main site block the strong wind from the west, the mountains to the north block the strong wind from the north, the mountains to the northwest block the wind from the northwest, and the mountains to the northeast block the strong wind from the northwest. The mountains block the fierce wind from the northeast. These mountains, which resist the northern wind, just form a semicircular ring.
Taoist priests believe that everything in the world is the result of the reproduction of Qi, from the sun, moon and stars, to grains and everything, from blessings, longevity and misfortune, without exception. "Guanzi" says: The Tao is in the sky, the sun. The one that exists in people is the heart. Therefore, it is said: If there is Qi, there will be life; if there is no Qi, there will be death. Those who are alive rely on their Qi. Kanyu Feng Shui expounds the vitality and forms a set of knowledge that hides the wind and gathers it. Guo Pu, a Taoist master of the Jin Dynasty, said: Qi will disperse if it rides on the wind, but it will stop if it is bounded by water. Fan Yibin, a scholar of Qing Dynasty, said: If there is no water, the wind will disperse the air; if there is water, the air will stop but there will be no wind. Therefore, the two words Feng Shui are the most important in earth science. Among them, the place where water is available is the best, and the place where the wind is hidden is the second best.
The dragon is a sacred creature revered by the Chinese and is also respected and believed by Taoists. Feng Shui believes that dragon-shaped mountains are the best auspicious places, called dragon veins. Handan is located at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, facing south and east along the mountains, taking in the purple air and the mighty south wind coming from the east. It is an auspicious place dreamed by Feng Shui masters to store wind and water. Refers to the mountain as a dragon, which symbolizes the rising and falling of the situation.
The Taoist Feng Shui book "Instructions for the Son of Man" says: Geographers name mountains after dragons, why? The metamorphosis of the mountain is in thousands of shapes, big or small, rising or falling, going against or along the way, hidden or visible. The body segments of the branches are irregular, and the changes at a short distance are sudden changes. If you experience it in things, dragon is the only one. However, that’s why it’s named.
2. Three Dragons and Clouds
Taoism divides the dragon veins by the four major rivers in China, which are called the three major dry dragons: the south of the Yangtze River is the Nanlong, and the area between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River is the middle dragon. Dragon, north of the Yellow River is Beilong.
