Will typhoon air conditioning affect the quality of air conditioning?
The outdoor units of air conditioners in China are all designed and manufactured according to the waterproof grade IPX4 specified in GB4208, which has the ability to prevent air conditioners from being damaged by "splashing water", and ordinary wind and rain will not cause adverse effects on air conditioners.
When the typhoon comes, it still has a great impact on air conditioning. Other adverse effects on air conditioning mainly include:
1, the running inverter air conditioner is prone to stall or reverse rotation of the outdoor fan motor due to the direct blowing of the outdoor fan motor by the typhoon, resulting in major failures of the main electronic control components of the inverter air conditioner;
2. The air conditioner hanging on the bracket wall is easy to be blown off because the typhoon is too strong, causing great danger;
3. Air conditioners that are turned off without power failure or poor grounding are prone to damage electrical components due to high-speed inversion of outdoor units when typhoons come.
Suggestions on using air conditioning in typhoon days;
1. It's best to stop using inverter air conditioners in thunderstorm weather, so as to avoid damaging the air conditioners due to the large fluctuation of power supply voltage caused by lightning. During strong wind, rainstorm or typhoon, stop using the air conditioner and turn off the power supply of the air conditioner;
2. The outdoor temperature in typhoon days may be relatively low. If you sleep with the air conditioner on, you should take certain warm-keeping measures to prevent colds.
