Youjiang fengshui
First of all, I declare that I am from Yang Xu Town, Youjiang District, and I know my hometown very well. Youjiang District, Baise City, Guangxi is the urban area of Baise City, located at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces, along the Youjiang River, one of the main streams in the upper reaches of the Pearl River (Guangzhou and Hong Kong can be directly reached by boat). With obvious geographical advantages, Baise is the political, economic, cultural and transportation center with a long history. The total population of Youjiang District, Baise City, Guangxi. There are only five ethnic groups living in urban and rural areas of Youjiang District (referring to those who have settled before liberation), namely Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao and Hui. Among them, Zhuang is an indigenous ethnic group in this area with the largest population, accounting for more than 75% of the total population of Youjiang District (about 260,000 people). They speak northern Zhuang language (consistent with other Zhuang languages in northwest Guangxi, and can basically communicate with each other) and live in Baise city and its suburbs. Zhuang nationality is distributed in every street and town in Youjiang District, and Han nationality accounts for about 22% of the total population in Youjiang District (about 80,000-90,000 people). Han people mainly live in Baicheng Street (formerly Baise Town), Longjing Street (formerly Nabi Township) and some areas along the river in Sitang Town in Youjiang District, and speak Baise dialect (a kind of Cantonese) and Zheyuan dialect (a kind of Pinghua). Most of them are descendants of residents who immigrated from Guangdong to do business in the late Qing Dynasty, while the Han residents who speak sugarcane garden dialect are descendants of soldiers and civilians who immigrated from all over Guangxi in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, while the population of Yao and Miao in Youjiang District is very small, estimated to be less than 10,000, mainly living in remote rural areas and mountainous areas. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, they moved to Youjiang District, and during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Hui people also immigrated, with a population of only about 500. Mainly living in the urban area of Baise City, there is a Hui cemetery near Jianhua Factory. Residents who speak different languages (Zhuang language, vernacular, sugarcane garden dialect) communicate with each other in Baise vernacular (and also in Mandarin in recent years). The above is absolutely accurate, hope to adopt!
