What are the disadvantages of buying food online?

The biggest drawback of buying food online is that you can't see the real thing, only the pictures. These pictures are carefully taken by online merchants and look fresh and clean, but the goods sent are different from the pictures. It's all gray vegetables that don't look fresh.

Unlike offline shopping, online shopping only buys vegetables that look very fresh and clean without insect bites. Online can only be selected by merchants. Some unscrupulous merchants may bundle some good dishes and bad dishes and sell them together, or basically don't pick them, just take them in order. For buyers, it is very likely to buy problematic goods.

You can only make do with eating stale vegetables.

Another point is that when we buy stale vegetables or vegetables that seem to have been stored for several days, we can't return them, because these vegetables are theoretically fine, and stale vegetables are not the main reason for returning them.

Only goods with food problems can be returned. These little things are not worth returning once, which is neither troublesome nor affordable. We can only eat together. But for us, spending money without getting a very good experience is also a drawback.

The price is relatively more expensive than offline.

Buying vegetables online requires many processes, such as picking, packaging and distribution of vegetables, which requires a lot of labor costs, and these costs will be added to the price of vegetables. This will lead us to buy food online, which is relatively more expensive than offline. Because the offline cost is much lower than the online cost, the price of vegetables will be reduced accordingly.

No smell of fireworks

The last point is my personal feeling, because I enjoy the feeling of setting off fireworks in the vegetable market or supermarket, which makes people feel very happy. I don't feel this way when I buy food online, because just like buying clothes and digital products online, I only have the pleasure of paying, and I don't have some extra feelings brought by buying food in the offline market, which is also a disadvantage for me.
