Xianning Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive public vocational college merged by five schools, approved by Hubei Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. One of its predecessors was Xianning Branch of Huazhong Agricultural College, which was established in 1976. The earliest school was Xianning Finance and Trade Business Administration School 1965. 1999 was listed as "the first batch of pilot higher vocational colleges in the province" by the provincial government. In 2022, Gao Shuang School in Hubei was approved. Our school is located in Xianning City, Hubei Province, a city in Du Quan, China, and is the geographical center of the economic zones of Wuhan, Changsha and Nanchang. It's a 23-minute high-speed train ride to the north from Battle of Red Cliffs of the Three Kingdoms and Wuhan, where the Battle of Tingsi Bridge in the Northern Expedition took place.
