There is a downdraft in the typhoon eye area, so the clouds disperse and twinkling stars can be seen at night.

As shown in the satellite image of Typhoon rammasun No.5 this year, the weather in typhoon eyes is usually sunny to partly cloudy, so it appears as a small black dot on the satellite cloud image. But after the typhoon eye moves, the weather will become extremely bad again.
