Ganlan religion: Ganlan religion has a history of more than 370 years since the late Ming Dynasty. It is a branch of Taoism, and its founder is Guo Ding.

Guo Ding, the founder, was a general in the late Ming Dynasty. Later, he abandoned his official position and set up a faction. According to Yi Li, the sect is called Langanzong. This Sect is conducted in secret and is rarely known to outsiders. Mainly engaged in Taoist self-cultivation, martial arts, metaphysics, Zhouyi, commodity merchants and so on. Later, the founder Guo Ding moved to Shandong with his disciples from Dali, Yunnan, and was spread to the northeast by Shi Ran, a master and apprentice Taoist, during Guangxu period.
