Because Guiguzi is a legendary and mysterious figure, many apprentices have been invented for him in later generations, but in fact Guiguzi can only identify a few apprentices, such as Sun Bin, Pang Juan, Zhang Yi and Su Qin. But these disciples brought by Guiguzi all came to a bad end.

Sun Bin: Sun Bin was a famous strategist in the Warring States Period. Both he and Pang Juan are guiguzi's favorite students. Because Pang Juan went down the mountain earlier than Sun Bin, and because of his own talent, he was highly valued by Wang Wei. Later, when Wang Wei learned that Pang Juan had another talented classmate, he blamed Pang Juan for not introducing him to himself. In desperation, Pang Juan introduced Bin Sun to Wang Wei. After Sun Bin arrived in Qi, he made a lot of contributions, but later he was suspected by the King of Qi and died of frustration. There is also a saying that Sun Bin was executed by the King of Qi. Either way, for a person who has made meritorious service, this is a tragic ending.

Pang Juan: If you do more injustice, you will die. This sentence is perfect for Pang Juan. Pang Juan and Sun Bin were originally a pair of students, and they had a good relationship. They also agreed that no matter which one developed in the future, they would support the other. But after being reused, Pang Juan was afraid that Sun Bin would threaten his position, fabricated charges and cut off Sun Bin's foot, which made the two disciples turn against each other.

For revenge, Sun Bin helped Qi attack Wei, and defeated Wei Jun led by Pang Juan twice in the Battle of Guiling and the Battle of Maling. At the same time, Sun Bin also designed to kill Pang Juan in the Battle of Maling and avenge Pang Juan for framing himself. The war between other disciples, but also because of Pang Juan's death, made Sun Bin win a great victory.

The reason why Guiguzi's disciples had a tragic ending was mainly because they were too capable and ill-timed. Su Qin, Sun Bin and others were knowledgeable and became powerful figures in various countries after going down the mountain, but they were in troubled times, with frequent wars and internal struggles between countries. In this environment, the winner will get everything, and the loser may die. In troubled times, no one can always be a winner. Even if Guiguzi's disciples are superior in ability, they can't always win, so the ending is very miserable. Also, their ability is too strong, their contribution is too great, and their brilliance is too strong, which will also arouse the envy and suspicion of others and may also bring bad luck to themselves.
