Feng Shui in Tianmu Mountain
One night, as soon as the monk who hit the bell closed his eyes, he saw a thin and kind young woman dancing and calling her affectionately, "Little Master! I am Tianmu, the granddaughter of the Jade Emperor, and I am willing to help you. From today, when the first rooster crows, I will sing at the top of Cedar Hill. When you hear the song, get up and ring the bell, and don't be tortured by flesh and blood. " Say that finish quietly passed away. The young master opened his sleepy eyes, and the room was dark and could see nothing. He was very surprised. He just sat up, folded his hands and blurred his eyes. He said, "There is no Amitabha in the south" and waited for dawn. After waiting for about two hours, melodious songs came from the top of Cedar Hill opposite the temple. The young master got up on time for the first time in his life and rang the doorbell, which was praised by his teacher and father.
Thanks to the assistance of Empress Tianmu, the little master who rang the bell never neglected his duty again. The sudden change aroused the suspicion of the monk watching the mountain. He asked, "Little brother! Why is it so punctual to punch in now? Is there any trick? " The monk who hit the bell frankly told the story of seeing the heavenly mother in his dream, which was vivid. Seeing that the monk recognized God, he couldn't help but blurt out his praise: "Goddess Tianmu is really a kind person! I think the rice fields in our temple are dry year after year, and the harvest is poor year after year. I'm going to ask grandma in the sky to bless the rain now, which may solve the urgent need. What do you say? " "good! Tomorrow morning, I will go to Xiangbai with you to see the Tianmu Queen. "
After midnight that day, my brothers and sisters climbed up Mount Xiangbai. Near the top of the mountain, the crisp and sweet singing began again. They finally found a place to sing, surrounded by empty, no shadow of the heavenly queen! Look carefully again, not far from the right, stands a stalagmite with a hair three feet high (this stalagmite is still there). Later, it was discovered that this song came from the tip of stalagmite. So the two monks knelt in front of the stalagmites and prayed at the same time: "The heavenly mother is merciful and saves the suffering for the people. The seedlings can't live without water. Please send cool spring water to the pool! " After reading the same words for three times, I saw a few white clouds in the sky slowly drifting to the northwest corner and falling on the left side of the big push peak. The gurgling mountain spring water flowed down from there and irrigated dozens of acres of rice fields in the temple. This year, the rice fields in Baili Fiona Fang suffered from drought, and there was no harvest. Only the rice fields in Xiangbai Temple received 20% more than normal. Three monks in Lele Temple eulogized the great merits of Tianmu Niangniang, and begged the good-hearted men and women in the neighborhood to raise funds to expand Xiangbai Temple, which was renamed Tianmu Temple after completion. The surrounding peaks, large and small, are called Tianmu Mountain. A large cold water cave on the left side of the big push branch is still called Baiyun Lake. Since then, the rice fields in the temple have been harvested year after year. The people in Hengbanqiao also saw some clues and raised funds to build a Niangniang Temple at the foot of Xiangbai Mountain outside Tianmu Temple. Incense burns day and night, praying for the blessing of the heavenly mother. Empress Tianmu sent a maid to plant two rows of willows on the vacant land in the north of the temple, then tore off jade hairpin from her bun and gently crossed between the two rows of willows to form a Liuhe River. Then she jumped into Heifengling, stepped on the lower side of the road, sank into a low pond, poked it with a thatched core, and the cool spring water gushed out and poured into Yangliuhe, nourishing hundreds of acres of seedlings in the village. The water flows all year round, and it is warm in winter and cool in summer, so Heifengling was renamed Lengshuiling. Yangliuhe became a natural village name of Hengbanqiao.
After the drought and famine were eliminated, the rice fields were plagued by insects again, and the people were worried and helpless. Empress Tianmu was anxious for the people, so she took a big stone (about three meters long, two meters wide and two and a half meters high) to make a nest in the south of Lengshui Cave and raised 749 golden chickens herself. Every day, she is released into the rice fields to peck at insects and kill pests for the people. Legend has it that one morning, Huizhou Chaofeng passed by this place, saw this golden rooster and took two. After returning home, he was seriously ill, and he didn't recover until he ran out of money to sell two golden cocks. After that, no one dared to invade these golden chickens again.
A few years later, more and more people went to Niangniang Temple to burn incense. Leave all the other gods behind. This first aroused the envy of the father-in-law of the land. He told the Jade Emperor about Luo Zhi's crime, accusing the Tianmu Queen of committing adultery with CoCo Lee, which was obvious. When the Jade Emperor saw the paper, he was furious and rushed to the crown. He ordered Lei Gong Dian Mu to ride down to earth, and the horse crushed the golden roost and broke it into three sections. A thunderbolt destroyed Niangniang Temple; A flash of lightning brought the heavenly queen back to the heavenly palace.
Since then, this beautiful legend has been left at the foot of Tianmu Mountain.
2. Tianmu Mountain: 50 miles east of Xinchang County, Shaoxing, and Tiantai Mountain in the east. Legend has it that someone climbed the mountain and heard the voice of the heavenly mother (old woman), hence the name. Selected from the complete works of Li Taibai. In the third year of Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (744), Li Taibai was pushed out of Chang 'an by powerful people and was released from Beijing. In the second year, he will swim from the east foot (now Shandong) south to Yuezhou, wrote this poem describing his sleepwalking in Tianmu Mountain, and left it to his friends in the east foot, so he took "Sleepwalking in Tianmu Mountain, Don't be a Duke of Lu Dong" as the topic.
The above two hope to help you!
