Notes on Wuyunshan Mountain

Wuyun Mountain, also known as Wuyun Mountain and Tashan Mountain, is located in the southeast of Xiawo Town, Shangjie District. It is adjacent to Chengguan Town of Xingyang in the east, Liuhe Town of Xingyang in the south and Mihe Town of Gongyi in the west. The local dialect is commonly known as Ta 'er Mountain. It is a sacred mountain where Mihe people in Xingyang Street stop at the same time. Wuyun Mountain is the Songshan Mountain of Zhongyue Mountain.

From the perspective of geomantic omen, the remnant vein is the backer of the street and the natural barrier of Mihe area. Mihe River flows to the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Plain, west to Xifo Mountain on the edge of the Loess Plateau, south to Fuxi Mountain and north to Wuyun Mountain. From east to west, these five peaks are: Fengkouling Jiguanling and Jinjuling in Ta 'er Mountain.

According to the Records of Surabaya County, there is an ancient view of coolness on the mountain. Every time people study on it, they see five brilliant clouds entering the house through the window, hence the name "Wuyunshan". Records of Xingyang records that there is an ancient cool view on the mountain, which is often covered by dark clouds, so it is called Wuyun Mountain.

Wuyun Mountain is 589.4 meters above sea level. Some villagers live in Donglinzi, Xilinzi and Yingpoding Village. The vegetation on the mountain is mainly Robinia pseudoacacia and juniper, which is relatively dry.
