How to align the balance axis of Odyssey 2.3?
There is a general method, which is to look at the alignment of eccentric shaft.
The general steps are as follows
1 Turn the crankshaft to the top dead center of 1 cylinder, and then turn it to a certain angle (to prevent the valve from jacking when rotating the eccentric shaft).
2 Rotate the eccentric shaft to the external figure (or the internal figure, depending on the model).
3 Calculate the number of teeth between the highest points of the intake and exhaust valve cams, and the midpoint is the camshaft timing mark, which is perpendicular to the horizontal line of the cylinder head.
Turn the crankshaft to the top dead center. The same is true for the double eccentric shaft, but you should see the ignition sequence clearly first, and it is best to mark it when disassembling the timing belt.
