About Iowa.,
Iowa is an agricultural state, and I am studying for my PhD here.
In general, the climate is relatively cold, and it freezes to death every winter. Is the environment okay? Basically every state here has a much better environment than at home. The humanities aspect is particularly good. For example, I live in the small town of Ames, and the public security is very good. I have never heard of anyone stealing or throwing anything away. (This is normal. Public security in big cities is not very good, but security in small places is good.) People here are very friendly, and there are many Chinese people, so they will not be discriminated against. There are 60,000 people in Ames where I stay, and 3,000 Chinese people. people.
This is not a place for eye-opening. Even the two largest cities in Iowa: the former capital, Iowa City, and the new capital, Des Moines, are not big cities. Life here is very comfortable, but if you are looking for prosperity, don't come here. Beyond the city, there are endless cornfields, as you can imagine.
But it should be noted that Iowa’s unemployment rate is extremely low, and seems to be the lowest in the United States.
The above is typed by hand. I hope it helps. If you need more details, please tell me.
