Will giving up convertible bonds affect the issuance of new shares?
Will giving up convertible bonds affect the issuance of new shares?
Yes, because the number of times investors give up subscription of new shares and new bonds is calculated in combination, investors who give up subscription of new shares, convertible bonds, exchangeable bonds and depositary receipts for three times will be blacklisted and cannot participate in any subscription within six months after being blacklisted, which means that giving up new bonds will affect subscription of new shares, and giving up new shares will also affect subscription of new bonds.
If an online investor wins the lottery for three consecutive times within 12 months, but fails to pay in full, he/she shall not participate in the online subscription of new shares, convertible bonds, exchangeable bonds and depositary receipts within 6 months (calculated on 180 natural days, including the next day) from the day after China Clearing Shanghai Branch receives the waiver.
Four reasons why it is not recommended to give up buying:
First, because most convertible bonds are won by lottery, that is, 10, each of which costs 100 yuan, so the cost of winning the lottery is only 100 yuan, which is not high.
Second, because most of the convertible bonds have gone up after listing, the successful bidder can sell them at a high level, not only to return the capital, but also to make a sum of money.
Third, convertible bonds can be converted into stocks. If the market is not good after listing, you can convert it into shares during the conversion period and then choose the right time to sell it.
Fourth, because convertible bonds have the characteristics of the bottom, the holding company will repay the principal and interest.
Generally speaking, the security of convertible bonds is ok. If you sign, you must remember to pay the subscription fee on time.
