Danya Bishui Hongshi Gorge
Yuntai Mountain is a mountain range extending to the east of the southern foothills of Taihang Mountain. I don’t know at what age, the God of Creation left a magical mark here - the huge mountain suddenly cracked. , a mountain corridor of ocher red rocks suddenly appeared. This is Hongshi Gorge.
Hongshi Gorge is the essence of Yuntai Mountain’s scenic spots. The cliffs are as steep as a man’s blood, and the deep pool is so green that it can sink all the sadness in the world. The entire canyon is called a “shrunk landscape.” "The World, the Expanded Art Bonsai" is like a fashionable "Guys and Dolls", showing its elegance and modernity, giving people a dizzying visual shock.
The mountain road is curved, walking slowly along the cliff, looking down, you can see the bottom of the cliff at a glance, passing through the Yingbin Cave, a huge stone suddenly stands up, with three characters "Hongshi Gorge" written on it. , bright and eye-catching.
There was no shadow of the red canyon as far as the eye could see. As the crowd walked onto a stone bridge, they suddenly discovered the deep red stone canyon. The scenery in the canyon was panoramic. The red cliffs stand there like two finely carved screens, and there is a meandering line of blue water in the middle of the canyon. The plants in early autumn are still green, and the long walls of Danya on both sides are dotted with green plants, moss and wild chrysanthemums, making them full of vitality.
Looking from a distance, you can see pieces of red rocks, cascading over the mountains, like red clouds floating around the ravines. Hongshi Gorge is a trace of the fracture structure left over from the crustal fracture movement. It looks like a very narrow linear canyon. The tourists in the canyon and Bishuidan Mountain form a wonderful landscape painting.
Follow the steps made of rocks and go down step by step, from the mountain road at the top of the valley to the bottom of the valley. Climbing down the steps, you soon reach the plank road halfway up the mountain, and you become the person in the painting.
There seems to be no such landform in the northern Central Plains, with the exception of Hongshi Gorge in Yuntai Mountain. Different from the magnificence of those famous mountains and rivers, it is more like an artificially stacked landscape bonsai, delicate and delicate. It condenses all the mountains and rivers into one place.
As I walked and looked, the stone steps under my feet turned into a "plank road" without realizing it. The stone railings were built with stone slabs and hung around the waist of the cliff, like a red belt. The plank road is built according to the situation, winding and circling, going up and down at times. The canyon varies in width, with a width of more than ten meters. The plank road hovers over the cliff, and there is a green stream more than ten meters below your feet. The narrow part is only two or three meters, and the plank road passes through the wall, hiding in the cliff.
Wandering back to the plank road in mid-air, there is a ravine more than ten meters deep at your feet. The stream at the bottom of the valley is clear and clear. In the pool, aquatic plants are the protagonist, and small crucian carp unique to Yuntai Mountain swims in the water. Under the clear water, green water plants stand one by one. The water in the pool is so clear that the water plants seem to be swaying back and forth without any support, swaying full of life and vitality.
Like many beautiful valleys, the canyon gathers springs, waterfalls, streams, ponds and other water-related scenery. Between the water are all kinds of dangerous and strange stones.
While walking slowly, I looked at the rocks in the stream from time to time. Some went deep into the valley bottom and were submerged in the lake, some stood upright, and some were curling and graceful, caressing the clear lake water leisurely, making the green Through the clear spring, the dust is washed away, revealing the rosy and delicate face. Some of them hugged each other and expressed their love to each other, letting the gurgling stream flow past them with laughter.
Thanks to the infiltration of water, the same red stone is bright and moist here. Whether you look closely or touch it, it is like a beautiful red jade, endowed with more vitality and texture. Why is Hongshixia red? Because the stone contains a large amount of iron oxide, the stone takes on a rust-red color.
Hongshi Gorge is surrounded by cliffs on both sides and is surrounded by mountains. This makes it difficult for air to circulate inside and outside the valley, resulting in the unique climate characteristics of the valley, which are warm in winter and cool in summer, with constant temperature throughout the year. The average annual temperature is around 10℃. The summer is cool and pleasant, making it a natural summer resort. The grass never dies in the cold winter, and every plant, tree and stone is surrounded by the warmth of nature, so it is called "Wenpan Valley". This seems to be a place forgotten by the seasons. There is only one season of spring, which is like spring all year round.
After halfway through the journey, there were more waterfalls on both sides. Many waterfalls here are different from other waterfalls. The water flows out from various places on the rocks, and the water flow is not large. The dripping water forms a curtain of water droplets. In some places, water is dripping from the entire rock face. The spring water drips on the green moss, and the water mist floats to the faces of tourists in the wind, making people feel very comfortable.
There is a natural stone bridge downstream of the canyon, spanning two cliffs, eighty or ninety meters deep from the bottom of the valley.
Standing on the bridge and looking down from the railing, the stream at the bottom of the valley is green. The iconic image of Hongshixia is the Tongxin Ruyi Bridge, which has appeared on many promotional posters. The Tongxin Ruyi Bridge is about ten meters long and is only wide enough for two people to walk side by side. It is built with ocher-red stones quarried from the cliff and is in the shape of a small arch bridge. There are three bridge holes under the bridge, and water pours from the bridge holes. Below, three waterfalls of flying flowers and jade are formed. The overall appearance of the bridge is Ruyi's shape. This is a good place to take photos, and tourists take photos there to promote friendship or witness love.
Looking at this pool of clear water, flowing quietly, I have no idea that not far away, there is an exciting waterfall, with red carps still roaming in the water, swinging their bodies leisurely, enjoying With this fairyland-like life, you can have a panoramic view of clear streams, red rocks, moss, and unknown aquatic plants.
With the first waterfall, the waterfalls in Hongshi Gorge have made their debut. The continuous rushing sound is sometimes light and sometimes heavy, and the sound is wide or narrow, rapid or slow, or sudden. A waterfall that cascades to the bottom or emerges in sections. To say that they are innumerable does not mean that there are too many to count, but that they have different shapes, which will make you dizzy. How can you focus on the number of waterfalls?
Walking along the gorge, the pools and waterfalls are like pearls falling from the sky, making an ordinary canyon look extraordinary. I have seen many canyons, but I have never seen such colorful waterfalls in a gorge.
Waterfalls also have personalities and genders. Some waterfalls are like masculine men, falling from the sky with a huge roar; some are like graceful daughters, scattering the power of water and falling into the pool, like soft breaths.
Approaching the end of the canyon, looking up, there is a waterfall on the high cliff opposite. Along the ladder-like cliff, it flows down step by step. The sound of water is loud, jade beads are splashing, and water smoke is rising. Just like a goddess scattering flowers across the canyon, it has the majestic momentum of "flying down three thousand feet, like the Milky Way falling into the sky".
At the bottom of the valley, a series of green pools lie quietly at your feet, cleverly joining forces with the waterfalls. The Bitan at the highest point bore the brunt of the falling waterfall, and silently turned it into the next level of waterfall, which was sent to the Bitan at the lower level. It passed on level by level in this way and became a waterfall.
Climb up from the canyon at the bottom of the valley. There are stone steps up the mountain, which are winding and circuitous. Climbing to the top of the canyon, the gray-white dam of Zifang Lake stands in front of us, with green mountains facing each other on both sides and a lake of green water in between. Green mountains and dark green water, leaning against each other, are another sight. During the Han Dynasty, Zhang Liang (named Zifang) once trained his troops and horses day and night on the peak on the west side of the valley. He helped Liu Bang achieve his great achievements and then retired here. It was named after Zhang Liang's given name Zifang.
The Hongshi Gorge in early autumn is quite affectionate and enchanting. Walking out of Hongshi Gorge, I really felt the feeling of "still unfinished".
Say goodbye to Hongshixia. Hongshixia will not remember us, but each of us will remember this trip to Yuntai Mountain, and one person even wrote it as a memory.
