What is the difference between the usage of weather and climate?
Weather and climate
Weather means "weather" and is an uncountable noun. The indefinite article cannot be added in front. For example, we can only say in such fine weather, but not in such fine weather. Such as:
The weather has changed. The weather has changed.
Note that although the indefinite article cannot be added before weather, when it means "all kinds of weather" or "no matter what kind of weather", weather is used in the plural. For example:
She goes out in all weathers.
Weather refers to the weather conditions in a specific area at a certain time.
Climate refers to the weather conditions over a generally long period of time, such as a season.
A drier climate would be good for her health. A drier climate would be good for her health.
