The original song of the opening song "Bitter Wine Full Cup" was written in Taiwanese by Yao Zanfu, a famous composer who wrote "Bitter Sweet Comes". The original singer was Xia Wen. After the restoration, it was changed to Mandarin lyrics and renamed "Bitter Wine Full Cup". In those days, in order to correct the social atmosphere, the government banned all songs related to debauchery and wealth. And "A full cup of bitter wine" is not only in the title of the song, but also in the lyrics, "People say that wine can eliminate people's troubles, so why don't you finish the wine and solve your troubles?" It also seems to encourage people to go to the lounge ballroom to drown their sorrows, so it was banned at that time. However, it is precisely because of the ban, coupled with Xie Lei's sensibility, massiness and charm, that "Bitter Wine Full Cup" began to spread in the streets and became the most popular forbidden song after "Don't Go Home Today". Xie Lei, on the other hand, became popular because of this album, and tied with Qingshan as a well-known male singer in that year, which not only swept the whole island, but also spread all over Southeast Asia, and also established Xie Lei's position in the Chinese music scene.
