Is Beijing Botanical Garden worth visiting? Guide to visiting Beijing Botanical Garden
The Beijing Botanical Garden is very famous in Beijing. It is spring now, the season when the flowers are blooming, so many friends will go to the Beijing Botanical Garden to play. In this article, the editor wants to tell you about Beijing. What fun things are there in the botanical garden? If you don’t know, come and take a look.
Yesterday’s spring snow brought the temperature in Beijing back to winter. Fortunately, it's the weekend and I can stay at home all day long, admiring the snowflakes flying freely through the window, regardless of the cold outside.
A few days ago, I read an article saying that many writers love and hate Beijing's spring because Beijing's "spring neck" is too short, which means that Beijing's spring is very short.
Beijing people add "neck" after "spring" to vividly make an abstract concept of season visible and approachable.
For me, a Beijinger, I do have this kind of love-hate feeling for the spring in Beijing.
I have always considered myself a fat otaku. Since I was very young, I have hoped that we humans are also cold-blooded animals, so that we can curl up in a hole in the cold winter and sleep beautifully all winter long. .
Wait until the spring is warm and the flowers bloom, then slowly wake up, crawl out of the cave, and enjoy the warm days in the future.
So, I usually refuse all kinds of outings in winter, and live an ordinary life of going to work and going home honestly. But one day, I suddenly felt that the wind blowing on my face was no longer cold, and there was more sunshine than before. Looking from a distance, the branches are not as dry as in winter, but have a faint green color.
I know, spring is coming. The warm breeze stirred up my heart.
"Shall we go mountain climbing this weekend?" asked You.
"No, there is haze, so it is not suitable for strenuous activities such as mountain climbing." He looked at the weather forecast and said.
“How is the weather this weekend? Can we go out?” By next week, I still couldn’t bear it.
"It rained on Saturday. It seems that Sunday will be fine and the temperature is not low. Where do you want to go?" It seems that he has paid attention to the weather for a long time.
“Let’s go to Wat Pho!” I had already planned in my mind.
"Why?"
"Appreciate wintersweet!"

Viewing time
Festival time: late March to early May
In the early morning, when you open the curtains, there is still mist in the distance. It seems that a spring snow has not purified the dirty air. But no matter what, I have to travel today.
After driving for more than 20 kilometers, we arrived in front of the Beijing Botanical Garden. The queue of cars to enter the parking lot stretches for several kilometers, which is why I don’t like weekend trips, there are too many cars and too many people.
After wandering around for about half an hour, I finally parked the car in a repair shop.
I scanned the annual pass and entered the garden. My heart, which had been agitated just now because I couldn't find a parking space, slowly calmed down. Maybe it’s because the garden is so big, with more than 4,000 people inside, it’s not crowded.
Hold Yu’s arm and walk slowly on the path in the forest. The wind is still a bit cool, but due to yesterday’s snow, the air is moist, and the wind blowing on your face is also moist. , it no longer makes people feel dry and cold.
Every time I come to the botanical garden, it’s either in early spring or late autumn. Never come during the blooming season. Because the garden was overcrowded at that time, there was no time to look at the flowers. On the other hand, in the off-season, although there are no flowers in bloom, there is still a sense of peace and quiet, which makes people feel calm.
I walked past Cao Xueqin’s former residence, walked past Liang Qichao’s tombstone, walked past this garden, and walked through that garden. In fact, they haven’t sprouted yet, and I can’t tell what is planted in them.
While walking and taking pictures, the buds of various flowers are already in bud, waiting for the warm spring breeze to blow, and each one will rush to bloom with a smile.
Following the signs, we soon arrived in front of the glazed archway of the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. You need to purchase a second ticket here to enter.
As soon as you walk in the door, a light fragrance hits your nostrils. Looking from a distance, the yellow wintersweet trees are already blooming. The small yellow flowers look very beautiful against the red wall. People under the tree are using various postures to take photos of their favorite plum blossoms. Because I have been here several times before and took photos several times, this time I just wanted to enjoy it quietly.
I found a sunny place, sat next to wintersweet, and let the wind blow gently, bringing the fragrance of wintersweet. I closed my eyes, didn't think about anything, didn't say anything, just sat quietly and smelled lightly, I seemed a little drunk.
Spring is here, how nice it is, everything is new.
