Wuyuanwan Wetland Park covers an area of 85 hectares, equivalent to half of Gulangyu Island. It is the largest park in Xiamen and the largest wetland ecological park, and is known as the green lung of Xiamen. Every March, a large number of egrets nest and breed here, which is also an important post for migratory birds to migrate north and south.
