Priest Liu Zongxin’s life background
Priest Liu Zongxin was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in Baoding City. Influenced by his family environment, he has had a strong interest in traditional Chinese culture since childhood. I particularly like Feng Shui predictions and insist on studying hard in my spare time. At the age of seventeen, he started surveying and dividing water for people. After receiving guidance from many masters, his skills improved. By chance, he met Taoist Master Shi Liguang, a famous Taoist scholar and writer and the 22nd generation Taoist of the Quanzhen Longmen School of Chinese Taoism, and became his disciple. The master gave him the name Zongxin. Determined to promote Taoism and practice hard. Priest Liu Zongxin is a philanthropist and keen on charity. We have visited poor villagers in mountainous areas many times and provided medicine at free clinics. It has been praised by the masses. Taoist Master Liu Zongxin is currently the deputy secretary-general of the Yuzhen Monastery in Qingyuan District, Baoding City, the Hebei Branch of the Chinese Fengshui Cultural Research Institute, and the 23rd generation Xuanyi disciple of the Quanzhen Longmen Sect of Chinese Taoism.
